Good News - Challenging News

I will be the guest at 5:00 on WWAY TV-3 for the Money Monday segment. We will be discussing the 20 million dollar increase in retail sales for downtown Wilmington in 2008 versus 2007. Approximately 15 million of that was in food and beverage. Business was good, but still has room to grow ... but I am very optimistic.

GAFFNEY, S.C. (AP) - Terrified residents canceled Fourth of July plans and holed up in their homes Friday as investigators hunted a serial killer believed to have shot four people to death. Tanya Phillips had been looking forward to a backyard barbecue at her brother’s house but instead planned to stay home with her doors locked.
